Meet The Maker
Hi, I’m Maggie.
I’m the herbalist, maker, animal lover, and heart behind Rose Raven Naturals.
For more than 15 years, I worked in veterinary medicine caring for animals and supporting the people who love them. During that time, I developed a deep appreciation for both modern medicine and the traditional plant wisdom that has been passed down through generations.
My own journey with chronic illness, endometriosis, chronic pain, and burnout led me back to the healing traditions I grew up around in the Appalachian foothills of North Georgia. I began studying herbs not only for my family and animals, but also for myself. What started as a personal passion slowly grew into something much bigger.
Today, every balm, botanical blend, and pet product is handcrafted by me in small batches using carefully selected ingredients and slow-infused herbal preparations. My goal is simple: create products that feel comforting, intentional, and connected to the natural world.
Rose Raven Naturals is inspired by Appalachian folk traditions, rescue animals, wild places, and the belief that everyday care can be something beautiful.
When I’m not making products, you’ll usually find me spending time with my partner Robby, caring for my dogs Huckleberry, Pua, and Uso, feeding the local crows, or exploring the woods that inspire so much of my work.
